Rich grew up in Ingomar PA, learning guitar from his "local guitar heros". Rich has been playing guitar for 31 years with bands such as Loose Goose, Prezence, Rich Kacin and Angel's Blues. Now that he has joined up with Open Wide, he can continue to demonstrate his own style of expression with sophisticated chord inversions.

Rich's influences include — Malmsteen, Schenker, Rhoads and Al Dimeola. Locally, his influences are Ed Sartori, Mike Palone, Peter Rossi, Tom Chess, Matt Baush and Nick the Mechanix.
